How many photos will be taken?
Every wedding is individual and we do not limit the amount of photographs taken. Usually there will be between 200 & 300 digital photographs from which you can choose for printing or for the albums. You can also purchase your photographs on a disc and this will contain all the processed images and copyright is transferred to you. As I am sure you will understand this does come at an additional charge and I am happy to provide a quote for you if this is of interest.
What equipment do you use?
We use professional Canon digital cameras and lenses and always carry backup equipment in the unlikely event that any should fail or develop a fault.
How long do you stay with us on the day?
For all the packages we will stay until the start of the wedding breakfast, and this coverage can be extended further, often until the first dance, however an additional charge may be necessary in such cases. A lot of time spent is also spent after your Wedding processing the images of your special day to ensure they are at their technical best (correcting white balance) etc. and cropping to the more creative more effects like spot colouring.
How will I view my photographs?
Every wedding or event regardless of the package chosen will be given access to an online preview gallery. This is linked directly from our website and a password is provided to you so that you can share this with your family and friends. From the gallery you can browse the photographs taken in order to choose photo for your album or select individual prints to purchase. If you would like to have a printed version of your proofs this is available at an additional cost and comes in the form of a ‘book style’ Preview Album.
What is the Preview Gallery?
The Preview Gallery is effectively a viewing area on our website where you and your guests can see all of the prints taken at your Wedding or Event. Simply tell your guests the preview password, perhaps in your thank you cards etc, and they can then access and view the prints at their leisure .
When will I receive my photographs?
We aim to have the photographs ready for viewing online between 2-4 weeks after the wedding. Album creation times vary depending upon the package chosen and as I process the images and create the albums myself this can take longer during busy periods. Please ask for more details. Booking To secure a booking we require a £150 deposit along with a completed booking form, available to download online (see our contacts page). The balance is then due 4 weeks prior to the wedding. Please refer to the terms and conditions for the cancellation policy, also available online.
What other options are available for my images?
There are many options for presenting your images including canvas prints, framed photo’s, Parents albums etc., we can provide a variety of choices. Presentation in the form a of custom slideshow to your own choice of music (e.g. first dance) is very popular and can be discussed with you, along with full price details, at the time of booking your main package.
